Reiki Energy Healing

Connecting with the Energy Within

What Is Reiki?

Reiki is an energy-based healing practice rooted in the belief that a universal life-force energy flows through all living things.

Much like acupuncture is traditionally understood to work with the body's energetic pathways, Reiki approaches well-being through the lens of our subtle energy system. Rather than using needles, a Reiki practitioner gently places their hands on or just above the body, with the intention of encouraging energetic harmony and balance.

Within Reiki philosophy, our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual experiences are deeply interconnected. Reiki invites us to explore that connection, quiet the outside world, and create space for greater awareness and inner stillness.

Some Reiki practitioners also work with the chakra system, traditionally understood as energy centers associated with different aspects of our physical, emotional, and spiritual experiences.

What Can You Experience During Reiki?

Every Reiki experience is unique.

Some people describe sensations of warmth, tingling, or gentle waves of relaxation. Others experience a sense of peacefulness, emotional reflection, or simply a beautiful opportunity to rest.

There is no right or wrong way to experience Reiki, and there is nothing you need to accomplish. The invitation is simply to become present, relax, and allow yourself a moment of care.

In-Person Reiki Energy Healing

During an in-person session, you are invited to rest comfortably, fully clothed, in a peaceful environment.

Your practitioner may gently place their hands on or just above different areas of your body, working with intention and awareness.

Sessions are designed to offer a nurturing space for relaxation, reflection, and connection with yourself.

Distance Reiki | Connection Beyond Physical Space

Reiki can also be practiced from a distance, allowing you to participate from the comfort of your own home.

Within Reiki traditions, life-force energy is believed to extend beyond physical proximity. Distance Reiki is based on this spiritual understanding, allowing a practitioner to offer a session without being physically present.

During your scheduled experience, you can settle into a quiet, comfortable space and receive the session remotely.

Whether near or far, the intention remains the same: creating space for stillness, relaxation, and connection with yourself.

An Invitation to Reconnect

Reiki is not about forcing an outcome or expecting a particular sensation.

It is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and honor the connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Whether you are new to Reiki or returning to a familiar practice, you are welcome to explore the experience at your own pace.

Sound Healing

A Journey Through Sound, Vibration & Inner Harmony

What Is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is an ancient-inspired, vibrational wellness practice that uses sound, rhythm, and resonance to create an immersive experience for the body, mind, and spirit.

Everything around us carries movement and vibration. Sound travels through waves, and when we listen, those vibrations are experienced through our auditory system and, at times, as physical sensations within the body.

Within sound healing traditions, different tones and frequencies are used with the intention of encouraging energetic harmony, mindfulness, and a deeper connection with ourselves.

Much like Reiki works with the intention of supporting energetic balance, sound healing invites us to explore that connection through the experience of sound.

Rather than asking the mind to become still through effort, sound offers a gentle point of focus, inviting us to slow down, listen inward, and become present.

The Instruments | Exploring Sound & Resonance

Each instrument brings its own unique qualities to the experience, creating a beautiful tapestry of tones, vibrations, and rhythms.

Crystal Singing Bowls

Crystal singing bowls produce sustained, resonant tones that gently fill the surrounding space.

Our chakra-inspired singing bowls are associated with the seven traditional energy centers, each carrying symbolic connections to different aspects of grounding, expression, intuition, and spiritual awareness.

As their tones flow together, they create an atmosphere that invites stillness, reflection, and a sense of inner connection.

Tuning Forks

Tuning forks create precise tones and vibrations when activated.

Depending on the approach used, they may be held near the body or, with appropriate training and technique, placed gently against specific areas.

Within vibrational wellness traditions, tuning forks are used with the intention of encouraging awareness, grounding, and energetic balance.

Their subtle vibrations offer a different kind of sensory experience, inviting you to tune into the quieter sensations within yourself.

Tongue Drums

Tongue drums produce warm, melodic tones with a gentle, rhythmic quality.

Their flowing sounds can create a peaceful, meditative atmosphere, offering the mind a soft rhythm to follow.

The combination of melody, vibration, and intentional pauses encourages mindful listening and a sense of presence.

What Can You Experience During Sound Healing?

Every sound healing experience is unique.

Some people describe feelings of deep relaxation, warmth, emotional reflection, or a heightened awareness of their surroundings. Others simply enjoy the beauty of the instruments and the opportunity to rest.

During a session, you may be invited to lie down or sit comfortably while different sounds and vibrations unfold around you.

There is no particular sensation you need to feel and no expectation of what your experience should be.

You are simply invited to listen, breathe naturally, and receive the moment as it unfolds.

A Connection to the Chakra System

Some sound healing traditions incorporate the seven chakras, which are understood within certain spiritual philosophies as energy centers associated with different qualities of our physical, emotional, and spiritual lives.

Our chakra-inspired crystal singing bowls can be incorporated with the intention of exploring these connections through sound and meditation.

The experience is not about forcing an energetic shift. It is about creating a peaceful space for awareness, reflection, and personal connection.

An Invitation to Return to Yourself

Sound healing is an invitation to step away from the noise of everyday life and enter a space of intentional listening.

Through the resonance of crystal singing bowls, the subtle vibrations of tuning forks, and the gentle melodies of tongue drums, we create an atmosphere where stillness, curiosity, and self-connection can unfold naturally.

Come as you are, without expectations, and allow the experience to meet you wherever you are on your wellness journey.

Life & Wellness Coaching

Nurturing the Connection Between Mind, Body & Spirit

What Is Life & Wellness Coaching?

Life and wellness coaching is a supportive, collaborative experience that invites you to explore your relationship with yourself, your daily habits, and your overall sense of well-being.

Our lives are shaped by so many interconnected elements: how we nourish ourselves, how we move, how we rest, how we respond to stress, and how we make space for the things that bring us meaning and joy.

Life and wellness coaching offers an opportunity to explore these connections with greater awareness, compassion, and intention.

Rather than following a rigid set of rules or striving toward someone else's definition of wellness, we believe in honoring your individuality and discovering what balance looks and feels like for you.

A Whole-Person Approach to Wellness

We view well-being as something that extends beyond any single habit or routine.

Our coaching conversations may explore several interconnected areas of everyday life.

Mindful Nourishment

Developing a more intentional relationship with food and nourishment, exploring whole foods, plant-based choices, hydration, and everyday habits that support your personal wellness goals.

The intention is not restriction or perfection, but greater awareness of how you care for and nourish yourself.

Movement & Connection with the Body

Exploring approachable ways to incorporate movement, mobility, and body awareness into daily life.

We believe movement can be an opportunity to connect with your body, honor its changing needs, and discover what feels supportive and enjoyable.

Rest, Stress Awareness & Daily Balance

Creating space to reflect on the demands of everyday life, recognize personal stressors, and explore practices that encourage relaxation, rest, and a more intentional rhythm.

This may include mindfulness, breath awareness, time in nature, or simple moments of stillness.

Personal Growth & Self-Discovery

Exploring your values, intentions, personal goals, and the patterns that shape your daily experiences.

Through supportive conversation and reflection, coaching can help you identify meaningful steps toward the life you wish to cultivate.

Mind, Body & Spiritual Connection

For those who feel drawn to it, our approach can also include conversations around mindfulness, grounding, personal rituals, energetic awareness, and spiritual connection.

We honor that spirituality is deeply personal, and every individual's beliefs and experiences deserve respect.

What Can You Expect During a Coaching Session?

Each coaching experience begins with you.

We create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can share what you're experiencing, what matters most to you, and what you'd like to explore or change.

Together, we may reflect on your current habits, identify areas where you'd like greater balance, and explore realistic, meaningful steps that feel aligned with your life.

There is no expectation of perfection and no single path that everyone must follow.

Our intention is to offer encouragement, accountability when welcomed, and a compassionate space for growth and self-discovery.

An Invitation to Grow at Your Own Pace

Wellness is not a destination or a perfect routine. It is an evolving relationship with yourself.

Some seasons invite movement and exploration. Others ask for rest, reflection, and gentleness.

Wherever you find yourself, life and wellness coaching offers an opportunity to become more intentional about how you care for your mind, body, and spirit.

Come as you are. Your journey is uniquely yours.

Mindful Movement & Mobility

Rediscovering Movement, Awareness & Connection with Your Body

What Is Mindful Movement & Mobility?

Movement is one of the most natural expressions of being alive. Yet throughout our daily routines, it's easy to lose awareness of how our bodies move, where we hold tension, and how our joints respond to everyday activity.

Mindful Movement & Mobility is an intentional approach to exploring movement through body awareness, controlled motion, natural movement patterns, and a deeper understanding of our physical capabilities.

Guided by Michael's experience and knowledge of movement, these sessions invite you to slow down, explore how your body functions, and reconnect with the natural ways we were made to move.

Rather than focusing on intensity, speed, or pushing through discomfort, the emphasis is on awareness, control, curiosity, and respecting your body's individual needs.

Understanding Mobility | More Than Flexibility

Mobility and flexibility are often used interchangeably, but they are not quite the same.

Flexibility generally refers to how far a muscle or other soft tissue can lengthen, while mobility involves the ability to actively move a joint through its available range of motion with control.

Mobility practices encourage us to explore how different joints move, how our bodies coordinate movement, and where we may want to develop greater awareness and control.

The intention is not to achieve a perfect movement, but to better understand the body you're living in.

Controlled Articular Rotations | Exploring Your Joints

One of the movement practices that may be incorporated into sessions is Controlled Articular Rotations, commonly known as CARs.

CARs are slow, intentional joint movements that explore a joint's available range of motion through controlled circular patterns.

These movements can be adapted for different joints, including the shoulders, hips, ankles, wrists, and spine.

By moving slowly and attentively, we create opportunities to notice how our joints feel, how we coordinate movement, and where our individual ranges of motion may differ.

The focus is on thoughtful exploration rather than forcing the body beyond its comfortable limits.

Natural & Primal Movement | Returning to Our Roots

Long before structured exercise routines and modern fitness practices, movement was woven naturally into everyday life.

We walked across varied terrain, squatted, reached, balanced, crawled, climbed, and explored our surroundings through movement.

Natural and primal movement invites us to reconnect with these fundamental patterns, exploring the ways our bodies can move beyond the repetitive positions and routines of modern life.

Through intentional, adaptable movements inspired by everyday human motion, we can cultivate greater body awareness, coordination, balance, and confidence in our physical abilities.

These practices may include squatting, reaching, crawling, balancing, rotating, and transitioning between positions, always with consideration for individual comfort and ability.

Rather than viewing movement solely as exercise, we begin to rediscover it as a natural expression of being human.

Barefoot Movement & Grounding | Connecting with the Earth

Our feet are our foundation, connecting us to the surfaces beneath us and providing valuable sensory information as we move.

When appropriate and comfortable, barefoot movement offers an opportunity to explore the natural motion of our feet, the relationship between balance and posture, and the sensations of different surfaces beneath us.

Whether walking mindfully on grass, exploring natural terrain, or simply becoming more aware of how we stand and move, these experiences invite us to slow down and rediscover our relationship with the ground.

Within grounding traditions, direct contact with the earth also carries a deeper symbolic meaning: an invitation to become present, rooted, and connected to the natural world.

Grounding is not about achieving a particular result. It is about cultivating awareness of the earth beneath us and the physical sensations of being present in our bodies.

The Connection Between Movement & Mindfulness

Mindful movement invites us to become active participants in our physical experience.

Through intentional motion, natural breathing, and focused attention, we can begin to notice subtle details that often go overlooked in everyday life.

How does a particular movement feel?

Where do we notice ease or resistance?

How does our body respond when we slow down and move with intention?

These moments of awareness can help us develop a more attentive and compassionate relationship with our bodies.

What Can You Expect During a Session?

Each experience is approached with consideration for individual comfort, movement experience, and personal goals.

Michael may guide you through gentle mobility explorations, controlled joint movements, natural and primal movement patterns, balance exercises, and mindful body-awareness practices.

When appropriate, sessions may also incorporate barefoot movement and opportunities to connect with natural surroundings.

Movements can be adapted to different abilities, with an emphasis on patience, thoughtful exploration, and respecting the body's individual capabilities and limitations.

You do not need to be especially flexible, athletic, or experienced with movement to begin.

The invitation is simply to show up with curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Movement as a Lifelong Practice | Returning to Ourselves

Our bodies are continually adapting to our experiences, routines, and environments.

Mindful mobility offers an opportunity to remain curious about that process while cultivating a more intentional relationship with how we move.

Through controlled joint movement, natural movement patterns, barefoot awareness, and mindful connection with our surroundings, we can begin to rediscover movement as something meaningful beyond exercise.

Rather than comparing your body to someone else's, we invite you to explore your own movement journey with patience, awareness, and respect.

Movement is not about perfection. It is about connection.
